Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of PropertyProvenance (the “Service”), operated for title agencies and other professional users in Mobile County, Alabama.

1. Nature of the Service

The Service produces property-record reports compiled from recorded public documents. It does not provide legal advice, title searches, title opinions, or abstracts of title under Ala. Code §34-3-6(c). You are responsible for your own examination and legal conclusions.

2. Subscriptions and pulls

Access is sold as a monthly or annual subscription plus a per-pull charge, as described on the pricing page. Founding-customer rates are locked for the life of a continuous subscription. You may cancel anytime and retain access through the end of the current billing period.

3. The accuracy guarantee

If the Service omits a recorded transfer in a chain we produced, we will refund that pull and credit your next ten pulls at no charge. This is your exclusive remedy for an omission and does not constitute a warranty of title.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to resell raw bulk data, to scrape the Service, or to use it in violation of the source records’ terms. Parcel geometry is provided by Mobile County GIS and is subject to its attribution requirement.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is,” and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding a claim.
